CLOSED ENVIRONMENT
Group Exhibition
The project approaches space as a closed system, where isolation does not appear as an event or an action, but functions as an environment. Processes are slowed down, confined within rigid frameworks, and reduced to an imitation of stability.
The exhibition is structured in such a way that the viewer does not observe the development of events — instead, they move through an already established structure.
The space is organized as the surface of a system, where violence is integrated and reduced to the appearance of order. The archive of images is distributed within this structure, which at first glance appears neutral, yet is structurally neutralized and has lost its capacity for resistance.
The video Chilly Winter Is Expected records the process of closure, where space gradually becomes sealed and closed off.
The exhibition is deliberately presented under conditions of limited visibility. The space remains in darkness, which complicates perception and disrupts the ability to grasp the whole. The viewer perceives only fragments, experiencing a condition rather than events.
The exhibition offers no resolution and no alternative. It records the result — the condition of a closed system.
