FOREST FRAME HOUSE
Istra, Russia
2014 - 2016
This house is located within a dense forest landscape near the Istra reservoir. The project was conceived as a quiet architectural presence within the forest. Rather than dominating the surrounding nature, the house seeks to preserve the existing trees and open itself toward the landscape.
The composition of the house is defined by clear horizontal lines and restrained geometric volumes. Concrete and natural wood form the material basis of the architecture, combining structural clarity with warm tactile qualities. Large panoramic windows open the interior toward the forest, allowing natural light, shadows, and seasonal changes to become part of everyday life inside the house. The architecture frames the surrounding landscape rather than separating itself from it, allowing the forest to become a natural continuation of the living space.
Minimalism here is not about reduction but about focus. The simplicity of the space directs attention toward essential experiences — light, silence, nature, and the presence of the surrounding landscape. The terrace extends the interior outward, creating a transitional zone between the house and the forest.
The interior continues this architectural language. Clean forms, restrained materials, and natural textures create an atmosphere of quiet comfort. Warm wood surfaces and soft textures soften the strict geometry of the architecture.
The house is conceived as a place of retreat and contemplation. Architecture, nature, and everyday life come together to create an environment where one can slow down, reconnect with the surrounding landscape, and experience a sense of balance.

GEOMETRIUM VISITING VLADIMIR GLYNIN . THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S HOUSE IN THE MOSCOW REGION
Today we arrived at the PHOTOGRAPHER'S HOUSE WITH TWO FIREPLACES. This is a very cool Dream House Interior Design at 270 meters.
The house is already 6 years old, it turned out to be a very modern interior design. See our detailed review of the house. For our photographer Zurab is the Ideal Architect. See our room tour of the house from the geometrium company. I often search for the geometrium architect's house, so we decided to rent this photographer's country house. BUILDING PROCESS
VILLAGE LAKE SIDE
Village Lakeside is located within the forest landscape surrounding the Istra reservoir, northwest of Moscow. The area is defined by dense pine and birch forests where architecture appears as isolated volumes within nature. The proximity of water and the distance from the city create a calm and secluded atmosphere.
The spatial character of the settlement emerges from the relationship between houses and the forest. Buildings are carefully positioned among the trees, allowing the landscape to remain dominant while architecture frames views of the forest, sky, and water.
